A relatively short final day of this leg - 6.8 miles from Worthing along the beach, then turning inland at Shoreham Fort to double back to the swing bridge that marks the end of Leg 22 (also the point where we had begun Leg 23 in July 2022).

Getting there and back
We parked our car in the station car park at Shoreham-by-Sea, then caught the 700 Coastliner bus from the Duke of Wellington stop back to Worthing to begin our walk
Weather conditions
Crispy cold and sunny, some light wind
Walking difficulty
Easy - flat, there is some shingle to navigate, especially if you want to be away from the main road on the first section out of Worthing
