East Head to Selsey

An 11.1 mile walk from West Wittering, along the coats for four miles, before a five mile inland loop round the Broad Rife inlet and the nature reserve. The walk finished with a couple of miles down the coast and around Selsey Bill

Getting there and back
Getting the bus from Selsey to West Wittering is a long process for the distance involved, requiring a change in Chichester. Blessed as we were with guest walkers with a second car, the temptation was too much and we parked one car at the West Wittering Beach car park and walked back to Selsey, before picking up the car later.
Weather conditions
Rained on and off during the day with some sunny spells and a chilly wind. Typical late October weather.
Walking difficulty
Easy - very flat, we walked down the beach at low tide for the first few miles - a little bit of shingle approaching Bracklesham
