Just under 8 miles, setting off from Sandwich, north through an industrial estate, then a couple of miles on the A256, a right turn into the Pegwell Bay Country Park, back to the road and then over a low cliff before arriving in Ramsgate for the final mile and half along the promenade

Getting there and back
We parked at Ramsgate station and caught the Southeastern train one stop to Sandwich - it's about half a mile to the path from Sandwich station, and then just under a mile from the marina in Ramsgate to the station - to be added to the 7.7 miles
