Clevedon to Wick St Lawrence
Overall day 92 · Part of Leg 1a – Aust to Sand Bay
3rd May 2026
8.3 miles
125ft elevation gain
This section of the KC3 ECP isn't open yet - we tried to walk the path anyway, as we understood it was soon to be open, only to be blocked but private property signs and herds of cows. Tried to navigate round resulting in a few miles of tarmac walking with no coast in sight, and then eventually reached a point near Wick St Lawrence where we couldn't find a way to go any further. Don't try this section until it's officially opened - didn't look like it would be anytime soon.

Getting there and back
We caught the X6 bus from Bristol to Clevedon to start the walk at the Little Harp Inn. Following our arrival at a dead end near Wick Warth, we walked back towards Wick St Lawrence and northern Weston-super-Mare to commence the bail out!
Weather conditions
Overcast with sunny spells
Walking difficulty
Easy but much of the latter stages on tarmac - wait for the path to open officially
