Just the first section of this leg is complete - Pitsea to Leigh-on-Sea. Just under 10 miles, leaving Pitsea station, walking along the line of the rail track, and then south towards Bowers Marshes, bypassing the Canvey Island loop (already completed) and out along the wide floodbank towards Southend. It's a two and a half mile loop round Two Tree Island, to arrive at Leigh-on-Sea
